Friends
- April O'Neil: April is the Turtles' human friend and ally. She's a reporter for Channel 6 News, and she's always there to help the Turtles when they need her.
- Casey Jones: Casey is a vigilante who helps the Turtles fight crime. He's a skilled fighter, and he's always willing to lend a hand.
- Splinter: Splinter is the Turtles' sensei and father figure. He's a wise old rat who taught the Turtles everything they know about ninjutsu.
- The Mighty Mutanimals: The Mighty Mutanimals are a group of mutant animals who are friends and allies of the Turtles. They include Slash, Mondo Gecko, Leatherhead, and Pigeon Pete.
Foes
- Shredder: Shredder is the Turtles' archenemy. He's a ruthless warlord who wants to conquer the world. He's also the leader of the Foot Clan, a group of ninjas who serve Shredder.
- Krang: Krang is a disembodied brain from Dimension X. He's Shredder's partner in crime, and he provides Shredder with technology and weapons.
- Bebop and Rocksteady: Bebop and Rocksteady are two mutants who work for Shredder. They're both dim-witted and clumsy, but they're also very strong and dangerous.
- The Purple Dragons: The Purple Dragons are a street gang who are often hired by Shredder to do his dirty work. They're led by Hun, a large and powerful mutant.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have a long and storied history, and they've made a lot of friends and enemies along the way. Their friends are loyal and supportive, and their foes are relentless and dangerous. But no matter what challenges they face, the Turtles always have each other's backs.
