Ava Man was born in 1926, the daughter of a sharecropper and a millworker. She grew up in poverty, and her family often struggled to make ends meet. But Ava Man never let her circumstances define her. She was a bright and curious child, and she loved to learn. Ava Man's faith in God helped her through this difficult time, and she never lost her belief that everything happens for a reason.

In 2007, Ava Man was diagnosed with cancer. She fought the disease bravely, but she passed away in 2009. Ava Man was 82 years old. She was surrounded by her family and friends when she died, and she left a legacy of love and kindness that will never be forgotten.
