Peter is confused and scared. He doesn't know what to do. He starts to search for his family, but he can't find them anywhere.
Peter starts to feel lonely and scared. He doesn't know what to do. He sits down on the couch and starts to cry.
Suddenly, he hears a noise. He looks up and sees a small, white rabbit hopping towards him.
"Hello," says the rabbit. "My name is Whiskers. I'm here to help you find your family."
Peter is surprised. He doesn't know why a rabbit would want to help him, but he's desperate. He agrees to let Whiskers help him.
Whiskers leads Peter out of the house and into the backyard. They follow a trail of Easter eggs that leads them to a nearby park.
In the park, Peter and Whiskers find Peter's family. They are all gathered around a picnic table, eating Easter dinner.
Peter is so happy to see his family again. He runs to them and gives them a big hug.
"Where did you go?" he asks.
"We went to church," says Peter's mom. "We wanted to give you a special Easter surprise."
Peter is so happy. He's glad that his family is back safe and sound.
Peter and his family finish their Easter dinner and then play games in the park. They have a lot of fun, and Peter forgets all about being scared.
As the sun starts to set, it's time for Peter and his family to go home. Peter says goodbye to Whiskers and thanks him for helping him find his family.
Peter and his family walk home together, hand-in-hand. They are all happy to be together again.
As they walk, Peter looks up at the sky and sees a bright star. He knows that it's the Easter star, and he knows that it will lead him home.
