Curry attended Charlotte Christian School, where he honed his skills and led his team to four consecutive state championships. Despite his impressive high school career, he was not heavily recruited by major college programs, primarily due to his size.

College Years at Davidson

Curry eventually committed to Davidson College, a small liberal arts school in North Carolina. During his college years, he became one of the most prolific scorers in NCAA history. He led Davidson to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament in 2008, showcasing his exceptional shooting skills and ability to control the pace of the game.

In his senior year, Curry averaged 28.6 points per game and earned numerous accolades, including the Bob Cousy Award as the nation's top point guard. His college success paved the way for his entry into the NBA.
